This is a project of creating a tender document of Dufry, a leading group in international travel retail for their proposal to Düsseldorf Airport. Our graphic team at Portland Design worked together on the book format, layout, typography and book cover image. Also I created all infographics, icons, diagrams and tables in the document.
"Retail tender submission for duty free stores at Düsseldorf Airport"
The tender required 2 different concept directions to be presented. After researching local retail and customer preferences we developed two duty free shopping concepts, each one inspired by the sense of place in Düsseldorf and the surrounding region.
These local shopping attributes were blended with international benchmarks to create a truly unique and authentic shopping experience – in the store concepts, the types of engagement experiences and in the store communications.
